Born in Atlanta, Eli was taught how to read as soon as she started talking. And she loved to read! She read everything she could get her hands on, and it wasn’t long before she wrote short stories in school that won awards in the local papers. She was the most obsessed with fantasy and vividly remembers how much trouble she was in after she tried to take out the back of her mother’s antique wardrobe while looking for Narnia.

Eli, like many people, let her dreams of becoming a writer fade through adulthood. Then when she faced post-COVID burnout at work after being in crisis mode for the better part of two years, her bosses sent her on a ten day vacation to the mountains. She read in a yurt pretty much the entire time, drove the three hours home with a story brewing furiously in her head, and six months later had her first novel, an IndieBRAGG honoree, in the hands of her editors.

Urban fantasy will always be her love. She has two series in the works and a standalone novel slated for an end of 2025 release. Writing is one of her passions, and she doesn’t intend to let it go anywhere ever again. Now, she gets to travel to conventions and events where people are nice enough to let her talk about her books and the worlds she created for hours on end, and she looks forward to what the future will bring and the doors her writing will open. See where she’ll be, get in touch, and check out her books!
